Knollwood Lodge History

Hello and Welcome to Knollwood Lodge on beautiful Lake Hamilton!

The Kastner family has owned and operated Knollwood Lodge since October 9, 1965. Ed & Anne Kastner came to vacation in Hot Springs from Chicago and eventually decided to move to Hot Springs and Knollwood Lodge was the place they settled.
Ed worked in Little Rock and Anne & Bruce took care of Knollwood Lodge guests, fishing boats and whatever else came up.
Ed retired from work in 1990 and both Ed & Philip then took care of Knollwood Lodge until 1996.

After graduating from Henderson University, Philip stepped in to manage Knollwood Lodge. In March of 2005, Anne retired and Philip and his daughters, Courtney and Kayla, have been operating Knollwood Lodge ever since.

Many happy memories and friends have come from our time with Knollwood Lodge; and we expect many more to come.
