Nestled on the scenic shores of Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Knollwood Lodge has been a beloved family-owned destination for generations. Since October 9, 1965, the Kastner family has proudly welcomed guests seeking relaxation, fishing, and unforgettable lakefront vacations.

What began as a vacation from Chicago for Ed and Anne Kastner soon became a lifelong commitment to hospitality. After falling in love with Hot Springs, they made it their home, choosing Knollwood Lodge as the perfect place to settle. While Ed worked in Little Rock, Anne and their son Bruce ran the daily operations—caring for guests, managing fishing boats, and maintaining the lodge’s charm.

In 1990, Ed retired and partnered with their youngest son, Philip, to continue operating the lodge until 1996. Following his graduation from Henderson State University, Philip officially took over management. In 2005, Anne retired, and today Philip and his daughters, Courtney and Kayla, continue the family tradition of offering warm, welcoming stays to guests from near and far.

For over 50 years, Knollwood Lodge has created lifelong memories for families, couples, and outdoor lovers. We look forward to many more seasons of lakeside joy with both returning and new guests.
